About her upcoming musical production, she shared: "The new album so far it’s a little more pop, it’s more R&B. It’s a little more soulful. It has a different sound to it so I’m really excited to see how it turns out." About leaving rock, she continued "Kind of, but I feel like I’m going to be doing that too so I might be incorporating rock and R&B."
She also said that her new inspiration is Keri Hilson or Rihanna.
She dished "I would love, love, love to collaborate with Trey Songz. I think that’d be awesome."
She has also written a song is spanish for her new album.
She said about touring with ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas "We thought about it when we first started dating, you know, to think about the consequences or what would happen if we weren’t dating when it came to tour. It’s definitely something we thought about before and we’re just dealing with now. It’s not bad, you know. We had a really great friendship before and now we just have to keep it going."
She told AHN that she will add dancers to her performances just like Miley Cyrus.
