Zac Efron's serious problem with bats!

Zac Efron has a serious fear of bats because when he was little, he was attacked by bats in an old house.

He dished to Britain's OK! magazine, "When I was growing up, the house next door was haunted, nobody would go inside. It had these broken boards and there were all kinds of weird stories about what happened there." He continued, "One time me and my friends went in but it was really weird, like something from Alice in Wonderland. We had to hike through a field of really tall grass to get to the front porch. There was a smashed window in the back, so we went inside and looked around. We went up to the attic and heard a bunch of noises. We were like: 'What is that?' Then all of a sudden bats just flew out at us - we were scared s**tless and ran away. I'm pretty sure that place is haunted."

Zac Efron is Fire!

Zac Efron is hoping to take the box office this weekend with Charlie St. Cloud, but he has also got another thing to think of ... Fire!

Former Disney star dished to MTV, "Brian Bendis is writing a script right now. I don’t know when we are getting a draft exactly. But I know that he’s having a blast and Brian is one of my favorite writers. I’m really looking forward to that, we’ll see what happens."

In Fire!, Zac will play Ben, an average college student recruited by the CIA who later discovers he’s been marked for termination by his employers. About playing Ben, he continued "You know the character, he’s not afraid. You know me in life I have a lot of rules. There is a lot of stuff I can’t do because I would never want to take those risks so to speak. As much as I’m a thrill-seeker, I don’t really get into fights, I’m not a renegade kind of guy. And that’s what this character is. I’m definitely going to live vicariously through this character and experience things I can’t do in real life."

Zac Efron hit up the NY strip clubs!!

Zac Efron's last trip to New York was certainly one to remember.

The former Disney star, who was in the Big Apple to promote his new movie 'Charlie St. Cloud', is said to have spent Sunday evening at the Flashdancers Gentlemen's Club on Broadway with buddy Corbin Bleu.

New York Post reported that both of then sat in a VIP area and left in the early hours of Monday morning!

A source dished, "Zac came in Sunday night around midnight with Corbin and one other male friend, who paid for everything. They were seated in the VIP lounge behind the main stage. There was only a rail between them and the girls who were dancing... Zac and the boys had a great time and left around 3 AM Monday morning."
